A twenty foot container of handmade bags is coming in from Italy. The brand is not one anyone would recognise, and at this price it does not need to be. The unit cost is low enough that the origin can carry the sales pitch on its own. A twenty foot box is a manageable first quantity for a line we have not sold before.

How It Gets Sold

Made in Italy does the talking on a handmade bag, and the stitching backs it up on the second look. That is the whole plan. Our live selling team takes the first run, since a broadcast is the fastest way to find out whether the story lands.

Where The Rest Goes

Whatever the live team does not clear goes into our domestic event halls, where a customer can put a hand on the leather before deciding.

On a bag like this the label sewn into the inside seam is worth more than the one printed on the outside.
