Authentic Nike, Adidas, New Balance and Converse apparel and footwear, imported from Hong Kong and checked in this week.

Why Hong Kong

For season off goods there are two serious sources in the world, Italy and Hong Kong. Both have distribution networks that were built for exactly this and both can put a mixed brand lot together without a month of chasing. Hong Kong is closer to Korea, so we use it more often. Shorter transit, fewer surprises between the invoice and the door.

Where It Went

This lot was too good to wholesale. It went into our own offline direct store and was sold at retail instead, one piece at a time, at the price the goods actually deserved. Retail takes longer and needs staff, but the same piece holds a different price standing on a hanger in our own store than it does sitting on a pallet.

Sometimes the correct decision is to sell it slower.
