Move

Until last year we ran 500 pyeong in Gonjiam, Gwangju. The new building is in the same city, 3,000 pyeong. The move came out of volume. Domestic demand recovered after COVID and our intake grew with it, a little at a time. Supplying ten department store outlets from one floor is what finally settled it. At 500 pyeong the stock was stacked past working height, and pulling one order meant shifting three others out of the way first.

Three days after the move the floor was full again. Season off carryover comes in as clothing, bags, shoes and belts, and it comes in faster than it leaves. Sorting by category and by season is running now. Racking goes up along the long wall this week, and the aisles are being marked so a forklift can turn without unstacking anything.

Six times the floor bought us three days.
