Event Hall

The hall was empty when we got there. A floor, a ceiling, and our truck outside with about 10,000 LECAF pieces in it.

We built it up from nothing. Fixtures, then hanging, category first and size after. It took longer than I said it would. We ran short of rail before we ran short of stock, so the last of it went to the back of the hall, which is never where you want it.

Then the doors opened and the floor stopped being ours. Middle sizes were gone in a few hours. After that I spent the day walking to the boxes at the back and walking forward again with an armful, over and over, and pulling out anything with a bad seam or a tag that didn't match the piece.

By closing, what was left got counted, loaded, and driven back to Gonjiam. Into the pool again, waiting for the next channel.
